Cletus Bio

Cletus McDuff picked up his first guitar at the age of seventeen.  A self-taught musician, he has been playing, writing, and recording music for over 25 years.  Some of his musical influences include:  The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Johnny Cash, Lynryd Synryd, and Stevie Ray Vaughn.

Cletus has been involved in various band and studio projects in Kansas City, Colorado, and The Lake Of The Ozarks, including:  Liquid Poet, The Core Band, Public interest, The Cause, Talven, and The Business.

Cletus currently has an acoustic guitar act blending Rock, Country, and Blues, as well as his own originals.  Combining old time pickin’ with present day ‘looping’ technology.  He also has a band cletus mcduff and the he rawkdawgs which feature various talented musicians around the lake area.  her choosing Cletus by himself or with The rawkdawgs, the raw energy and unique foot stompin’ style will not disappoint you.

Cletus has enjoyed playing the various venues around The Lake Of The Ozarks since Memorial Weekend of 2006 including: Topsider 'The Poop Deck', Eddie's Sports Bar, The City Grill/Blue Room, Chicago Brothers, The Fish Tank, Shorty Pants, Pickled Pete's, Kelley's Landing, Cricket's, Redneck Yacht Club, Rock Bottom Bar & Grill, Cap'n Ron's Bar & Grill, Maloney's Pub, Chevy's, Mariner's Pier 31, Captain's Galley, Gull-Ables, Frankie and Louie's, as well as a handful of private parties throughtout the midwest.
